pick 3 of these i reckon

midweek, football on telly, people still on holiday, credit crunch, trains weren't very well, away team brought no fans/all on comps, thought game would be off because of rain.

that should do the trick.

Or the other reason is that the novelty of top flight football in the conference has warn off. I also noticed that Dagenham only had 1400 for their game on Saturday.

It going to be a hard season with all that travelling for both of them.

seriously Grays have bad attendence anyway ok like Tree says people on holiday and etc but last season on a satarday they were getting between 700 and 800 im suprised Mick Woodward is still there surely why continue to fund where the people of grays dont want to know and the council not helping much in getting them a new stadium

i think the problem could of been that until 9pm last night the dartford crossing was closed.Took me 2 hours to get home from west thurrock and the whole area was in turmoil.Doubt many kettering fans made it down as the tailbacks were from the tunnel back on to the m11 from about 5pm.

Kettering normally take a few away but doubt on a good day the crowd would have been much over 800.

I went to see Redbridge on Saturday and we were talking about the same thing there. The answer seemed to be not have conf north and south but to have north/south east and west etc.

We are heading into recession and for clubs to continue at that level decisions have to be made. Thank god for the Ryman Premier.

1st round of Johnstone's Paint trophy is split into St George's Day flag.

It prevents games like Brentford away to Swansea on a Tuesday night as both clubs are south as happened this week in the Carling Cup.

Bit harsh imo.
Love a rivalry as much as the next person but some of the stuff like "i hope they go bust" just sounds bitter tbh.
I'd sooner be able to play them at that level if possible.
Old news now, and i'd say it would be better concentrating our efforts closer to home.
