He sure is a tricky customer isn't he Michael.Well,I think he is and he can jump too which when you consider that he's not that tall its an enormous advantage to have up front on crosses.I reckon he will do us good too.

lets not forget that SCS is still on the transfer list??,so there must be a keeper to be signed, pat mullin maybe,or have managment got somthing up there sleave.

Disappointed not to see Corbishley and Young in that list.

i am similarly hoping that first thing tomorrow, the club notify us that Young and Corbishley have been signed on contract.

Coming back to the non contract players-apart from Kenny Pratt, just realised that the other person who has not been declared as having a 'non contract' is Joe Taylor.

 

It does seem a bit odd, that in Taylor and Pratt we have two of the Kent leagues top goalscorers (Taylor 2007/8 and Pratt - 2006/7 and he was injured for alot of last season )and yet these two apparently have not been 'tied' to the club.(and here we are signing players from the Kent League anyway)

 

i would also add that when they played together in the whitstable friendly, they looked the most threatening our attack has looked in the psf's.

 

To me ,they should be signed on some sort of contract, and i would not be unhappy to see either or both being regular first team squad memebers.

 

As an aside, i am of the opinion that we do not need another goalkeeper on a contract. (see separate thread )

reading your comments it is odvious you are a strong fan of SCS,and there is nothing wrong with this you are entitled to your opinion.

but bearing in mind he is still transfer listed we must have another keeper in place,having watched most of the pre seasons games i would have no problem with mullins as first choice.

looking at the list of players with contracts management do not seem to share my views,led to believe that matt bowles has had a few problems at the moment,so if it's not matt or pat who is the second/first choice keeper.
