Well that is hugely disappointing because I thought he had looked solid throughout pre-season. It is a step up and has been announced on the Brackley webpage so looking fairly certain.

 

Might see Fenton and Harper paired at centre back or maybe Daly will step in.

Very disappointing as I thought he was going to be a key player for this season. To be fair though I think most players at this level would take a step up if offered the chance.

I think we will need to respond to this and sign on another player otherwise we will not have the cover for injury.

I bet you wont be happy til all this team has gone and we have the 1963 team playing!

 

If you cant say anything positive and uplifiting at the start of the season you are not much of a Slough fan!!!!

 

Pierson was looking like fitting in well and his size and ability both in defence and at set pieces was useful - can understand any player trying to better themself.

I'd rather see Harper at centre back than Daly there. Don't think he is fit enough given the lack of minutes he has played in pre-season. Defence became a bit of a shambles when he came on against Godalming.

 

Probably play Roberts as cover at right back. Although this would be perfect timing to bring in one of the massive centre-backs from Stevenage on loan....

If this is true I think it stinks - can't begrudge a player for wanting to play at the highest level he can, but could Brackley not have snapped him up sooner rather than Pierson playing 5 or 6 pre-season games for us?

He is currently signed on for Slough , and I beleive we have not had an approach from Brackley as yet / but I am sure we will but he currently is a Slough Player.
