Yeah Matt is a top bloke. Can run all day for fun, but is prone to over reacting to a tackle now and again and then seeing red (normally the card!!!). Sw his surname appear on one of their teamsheets, but wasn't sure if it was the same one.

of course it looks near the post, its already in the net. Sorry mate, it was a yard yard or two inside.

 

I wouldn't say we played defensive, all the Dorkin defence and number 6 wanted to do was hit the ball long, so we were happy to let them have it, especially as we only have one striker at the moment and he is not fully fit.

Im making a point about how angles of view effect what we see TC.

It might explain why people have different views and therefore different opinions to referees.

 

 

This one went in the back of the net for sure!

 

I dont think you played overdefensively, 1 0 up away from home against ten men, you are going to settle for that. The defenders and midfielders couldnt see an easy pass so went backwards and then long too many times. No big man up front to win it and hold it so the ball comes back again.

They couldnt work it through midfield even with 11, but maybe thats because they've never played together. I think its three goals in nine games now inc psf, its going to be another difficult season, six points off top three already.

In truth Queenie did very well to get on the end of it, saw it late and it went mm's wide, if he had scored we would have gone on to win the game but no one is holding it against him flame

Fair enough TSF. Just another example of how text can be read into.

 

I remember one story many years ago where a referee gave a penalty. One assistant from his angle thought it was a free kick in the other direction, and the assessor thought there was no foul and the referee should have played on.

 

Going back to Dorking, it is early days and I am sure they will be there or there abouts when it gets to the business end of the season
