Cove battered Cobham for 90 minutes. Hit the woodwork 4 times and a goal disallowed. Both of their goals were sloppy defending but from 2-0 down we battled back and got a draw with 20 secs left.

 

Cobham will finish bottom 6 i'm sure.

 

Dissapointed but will accept a draw from 2-0 down.

 

Bring on Hartley on saturday in the fa cup. Then out in Guildford for a good p1ss up!!

Westfield 1-0 Dorking

 

An understrength and below performing Westfield dug out a 1-0 home victory against a lively Dorking side.

Missing several key midfield men Dorking created many chances but either fluffed then or found a determined Westfield defence hard to break down.

At the other end Westfield's dangermen created several chances and Rashid Jacobs got the only goal on 70 min

A goal ten minutes into the 2nd half was enough for Ash to claim all 3 points. Even first half saw Ash play much bettter in the 2nd & could have made the margin of victory alot bigger but will take the win as its been along time coming

My mate actually said that Cobham didn't deserve to win as although they looked ok with the ball, said they were very un-organised without it. One of the downfalls of having such a young team I suppose that lack experience.

 

Still they will have been happy to take a draw and remain unbeaten.

Hi all,Another good result for Chertsey I see.

Horley battled out a well deserverd 1-1 draw with Chessington considering Horley had a man sent off with about 35 mins to go for a second yellow card where he was supposed to of handled the ball when going up for a header.

Reall Gussy. Team on break ball played over top of full back to on rushing winger. Defender goes up for a header and punches it beacuse he cant reach it and stops what is a good break. Anyway I wasnt there so who knows the circumstances.

Egham are a decent side, they like to get it to the fullbacks and then play into the forwards and play from there, left back has a decent delivery on corners and free kicks too.
