Did not really get a good look at his face but there was a Jack Parkinson at VCD last season. Could be him?

 

Jack is one of the youngest members of the squad being only 17 years of age having joined last season from Tonbridge Angels under 18s. Parkinson, Taylor and Power all seemed to know each other in the bar after the game, maybe why we had him on trial..........Looked pretty good after a shaky start I thought.

Just a thought, maybe Welling have loaned him to us for a while to get experience?

We (Cray) had him on trial at the beginning of pre season, but he was also on trial with Tonbridge. Welling stepped in and immediately put him on contract. Last week Welling told him he wasn't in the first team, and i belive, are going to or have released him.

He is also currently training with Millwall, which i believe is a long term thing.

Maybe the attraction of our 'academy 'set up and working with MW ,Yorath and southall has an appeal.

 

It may just be that Margate FC will get an increasingly good reputation for producing and improving young players and we will star to attract the cream of the crop-guess thats the long term plan anyway.

 

As for Parkinson-i'll just wait until we get notifiication from the club as to who we have signed.

i do trat we will get that before friday.
