Keeps - Thanks for that, it's a big improvement on two for our first game of the season against New Bradwell St Peter isn't it. Don't forget that the likes of LATO, Spidermanor and Manorborn deserted us in their droves when the Club were unceremoniously shown the door of Grosvenor Vale by Wealdstone and literally had to start again from the drawing board with a blank piece of paper.

 

Rhodes, I am getting a little miffed at your continual comments regarding Wealdstone FC and the reason for Mr Springer seeking an alternative location for the side to play. Now I know you were not involved with the club at the time but ask your chairman these three questions.

 

1.When he became involved in Ruislip Manor FC, how much did he pay for use of the facilities whislt they played at Grosvenor Vale.

2.How much of the debt owed to RMSSC by RMFC was paid.

3.Why did he manipulate the situation to ensure he could move RMFC away and seems to market them as a club for Tokyngton and has no interest in the area of Ruislip.

 

I don't need a link to the newspaper article by Mr Thomas that you normally trot out, but once you get these answers I would advise you cease the accusations as he knows it is not their doing but by his agreement that they moved out.

A nice ground, plenty of cover for the crowd, but managed to stay under a tree for the entire game which stopped most of the first half rain. Spent a lot of the game talking to catweazle from this forum and later on a Beaconsfield reserve team player.

 

The less said about the match the better. The home side were clearly better in the first half and comfortably 2-0 up by virtue of not being as bad as their opponents. More even (and poorer) after the interval where chances were limited, but Benfica never really looked like making it interesting. Their keeper did save a late penaly though. Will barely remember this in a couple of weeks time.

Playing days are over sadly, but was at the match. Both teams used their 1st team squads for the game. BBFC's is stronger than Bigg Town's by the looks of things.

Onekeown, as you asked, New Bradwell 1 Stony Stratford 4, no complaints, intense local derby, Bradwell were 1 up at ht but Stony were not out of it as chances had been had at both ends, 2nd half Stony raised their game a couple of notches in every department and thoroughly deserved their win, it's disappointing to lose any game but when the opposition have played that well you just have to appreciate it.

Well it would be a help if the results were posted properly without the Officials names etc and the Aveley v London Colney result was on the wrong thread. Tokyngton Manor scored first this evening however fair play to Hadley who are clearly a good team and ran out comfortable winners in the end, that's no reason to poke fun at the Club though as there was a number of Reserve players and debutantes making their bow and
