Bilbo - Uncle Urchin is spot on as per usual, going by what you're suggesting what's the point in having an SSML Forum at all then. Firstly Horace or HTFCew often drag their feet in putting results on the Mitoo site such as last Thursday for example when it was gone 11.00pm before they appeared. Secondly by seeing them first hand here members can make immediate comments rather than jump back and forth to Mitoo which can be quite cumbersome to use.

A poor performance by the Hares and we made Biggleswade look a lot better than they really are. The outcome of this result was never going to seal the race for the title so onwards and upwards. Come on Lads dust yourself down and make sure we take the points from the remaining games. Disappointing second half from the officals, Ref bottled giving the 2nd yellow to the Biggleswade defender as well as not giving the pen and as for the straight RED he gave Adam Willis it was outrageous - neither player took their eye off the ball, it was a high foot, nothing more,I really feel for you Adam. Ref you were a disgrace.

I thought it was a good match. Waders frustrated the Hares front line and later in the match their defence leading to a bit of boiling over and indiscipline from Harefield whose game went a bit awry. First goal was typical Bobby Dance magic, so nonchalent and so Bobby. Don't blame your keeper Bobs does this kind of stuff regularly and with ease (hopefully available to view on BTFC/TV later on today). He's the kind of player that brings an smile to your face whenever he's got the ball.

 

Hares have some good players and won't relinquish their first position easily. It's down to all 3 clubs (including Chalfont) to now find consistency (for The Waders to increase the 8 league match unbeaten run) and the team that does will be champions.

 

As for the sending off, well the high tackle was shall we say very competitive and the lad then behaved poorly swearing at the home directors as he made his way to the changing room. Injury to Mark Webster clear for all to see though....

I thought that the hares looked a little lightweight in the home box and in fact never had one shot on target all through the game...the hares number 4 kept the scoreline respectable in my opinion and he should be playing at a higher level...

 

convincing win for the home side and I agree that the red was a little harsh....I can see the marks on the left backs shoulder (he's another one who should be playing higher level footie) but in truth it was a combination of stooping and high boot....

 

mind you....the player didn't do himself any favours complaining about the music on the way back to the dressing room...
