Presumably Royston played a near reserve team, I don't expect Craig Hammond took part, these seemingly never ending County Cup ties must be a distraction from the bread and butter of the league for you

Minsc were at Reynolds Fields today to see Division One leaders Royston Town gain a comfortable 6-1 win over Sport London E Benfica. Before you ask rhodes, Craig Hammond scored 3 goals but as I said before (and this is the second time I've seen Royston this season..is that two more than you?) they are not a one man side.

Hammond is a good player and took his second and third goals well but both were made by excellent through passes from midfield. Speaking to the chairman and manager before the game we learned that Royston had a few players out but were still too good for SLB and it could have been even more emphatic as Royston hit the woodwork three times, the home keeper made four good saves and there were many other chances.

I'm afraid to say SLB were poor on the day (not sure of the strength of their side) especially in midfield on a surprisingly heavy and cut-up surface.

I didn't think Hammond played as he was on Facebook at 6.30, he must have left straight after the game to get back to Royston so early. You have to admit he's a class act and without him Royston wouldn't be the same team.

Facebook can be accessed outside the Royston area you know!!!

glad to see you are still not answering questions.

Yes Hammond is a good player but as I and many other individuals have said on nummerous occasions Royston are not a one man side. However I think they would still have been too good for SLB today without him.

Saf06 gave me a brief report on Facebook earlier, I was amazed to hear that Jonathan Donoghue was only substitute, I thought Colney Heath knew what they were doing in making the shrewdest signing since Royston secured Craig Hammond from Mildenhall Town but now I'm not so sure.

I think you were too slow off the mark and Colney Heath beat you to the punch
