Yea i was playing troy, fancied an early shower.......! We were missing our top scorer who was suspended and one of our normal centre backs but apart from that were at full strength. no excuses from us, didnt deserve nothing on that performance!

Wasn't having a pop at the surface, groundsman did really well to get it on, just saying it was a bit boggy and a lot of our lads didnt adapt to the conditions!! Colney have a very strong side, tipped them at the start of the season to be top 6

Saf06.....I spoke to the referee after you left last night and the real reason the game was called off was he heard that the woolworths closing down was going to start today and he wanted to camp outside his local store to be first in line for the bargins.

Oh well, best laid plans, its only money you can't take it with you. snow

Gordon Boateng, manager of Ryman League Division One North club Cheshunt, confirmed a very positive response from within his camp towards the recent cut in playing budget.

And albeit not out of the woods by any means with a number of first-team regulars undecided as to where their immediate futures are, the former Brimsdown Rovers boss said that he has received a massive boost to keep his club in promotion contention.

Joint top scorer Yohance Lewis, signed from Dartford, was originally leaving the Hertfordshire outfit, but has reconsidered his position and is now happy to stay.

Further good news came by virtue of signing one of the hottest properties on the Molten Spartan South Midlands circuit with Cockfosters leading scorer and ex-Hemel Hempstead Town frontman Dan O'Connor joining ahead of the Hillingdon Borough contest on Saturday.

Boateng (pictured) finalised with mention of Richie Jones from Northampton Town also putting pen-to-paper ahead of the Middlesex away day.

A fine win for Hertford Town yesterday showing just how far Pablo Ardiles has come in such a short space of time, how Horace and HTFCew must be regretting their hasty decision to sever ties with the Club:

So where is this Sat's home game vs Brox B taking place?

SJ Park would be unavailable - KLT are at home to St Marg's -

- providing Copthall is still OK for the Sat (Rhodes 'conspiracy' & weather permitting) - does it follow that the following Tue night game vs Ch.St.P will be there OR will that also be 'switched' to SJ?

If its @ Copthall, I'd (almost) consider going - there's b@gger all else on next week and my kids' Scouts/Cubs/Brownies/Ballet etc have finally finished for Xmas so I don't have to Taxi them around - I went to SJ many years ago.

What's the arrangement with KLT - are you (is anyone) at liberty to say??

Mitoo doesn't confirm SSM venues until much nearer the date - how do 'they' get the info?

Had a quick trawl back through the SSM Noticeboards for a clue but found nowt.

Rhodes your conspiricy theory are all true, the reason we can't use the copthall is because we have been hiding Aliens in the changing rooms without permission! The reason the games have not been played at copthall is because the pitch is s**T, remember they do shotput and javelin during the week, a days rain makes the pitch unplayable for 7-10days! Saying that it is only one side of the pitch, the far hand side is perfect-rivals broxbournes pitch-but as they say football is abbout two halfs haha!
