Hertford huffed and puffed and played with good committment. They were well organised but for me lacked a little quality.Colney Heath created the better chances and played the better football on a poor surface.

But credit Hertford who started stronger.I imagine Hertford were at full strength where colney heath made 6 changes to the team that won on saturday.

Hertford were short of four regular first teamers through injury and work committments, including regular goalkeeper and striker, though having said that their replacements did OK.

As for the pitch Rhodes, I was amazed how well it had recovered from the previous night's rain, when I went down for the inspection yesterday morning. Incidentally the ref who passed it fit was the same one who called off the Broxbourne game. Another surprise, as normally their pitch seems to cope better with inclement weather than ours.

I see that you have inherited this job from Horace, as you say after all the rain we had on Monday I didn't think your game would go ahead in a million years, there is hope for Kentish Town and Haringey Borough yet.

I would have said Kentish Town v Biggleswade Town in the FA Vase but that game has already been called off according to Samuelsmiles, why not give Haringey Borough v Hanwell Town a whirl if that goes ahead.

It's puzzling that since I left Kentish Town the Manager gets all the press publicity and Clement never gets a mention anymore as tomorrow's Islington Gazette confirms:

His side, though, have been hit by the loss of three key players in the run-up to the game. Defenders Tommy McMullen, Jonathan Maddison and Aaron Hutchins all miss out, but the boss says his side can cope.

"We'll bring a couple of kids up from the youth team. It's a big step up for them, but I'm confident they'll enjoy it.

I understand that Samuelsmiles was on a wind up and the Kentish Town v Biggleswade Town FA Vase tie is still on however no doubt Wader will be rubbing his hands when reads the above, talk about handing a game to the oppostion before you start.

BigBadWolfie - Lol, I couldn't agree more, I wonder what the Club's Head Coach, namely Clement Temile, thinks of that.
