How exactly does it do that Rhodes? Yet again Craig Hammond scores a couple of goals in a game where Royston score 5. It seems like he can score against the lesser opposition but in tight games against better teams he fails to score. As I pointed out on the Royston thread you can comfortably discard most of Mr Hammond's goals, including todays 2, without having any detrimental effect on Royston's league position.

You have still failed to explain how the statistics I have provided prove your point that Royston Town are a one man side.

Yet again I expect you to avoid responding to this post.

I enjoyed your analogy with the Belgrano though - wasn't that the ship that was sailing away from the Falklands and was in international waters........

Sjj2112 - Okay I look forward to seeing you this afternoon at Hornchurch (yes I'm going) and I'll try to explain where I'm coming from. There's far more to it than just boring statistics which John Motson has spouted ever since his Hereford v Newcastle bow in 1972, for example Craig Hammond's mere presence at Garden Walk is enough to bouy his team mates in a Cantona fashion where everyone is in total awe of him and they raise their game tenfold.

Sjj2112 - You weren't very sociable after the game, we were still in the Hornchurch bar when you posted at 6.27pm. Anyway thanks very much for the Alfreton Town v Bury Town programme, good to see you again.

With the rain we're having today and the forecast I will be surprised if Kentish Town are able to play at home again this side of Christmas, Phil Rolt must be a worried man as will be the Southern Counties Floodlit Youth League fixture Secretary.

Sahin - I assume you represent Biggleswade Town, I think you will find that your FA Vase meeting with Kentish Town at the Copthall Stadium on Saturday will most certainly be off, I hope the Club will keep you closely informed.

so nothing now until at least Saturday 22nd !!!!!!!!!!!!

If I recall correctly, clippy was taking the plaudits and almost single-handed credit for Kentish Town moving in to Copthall. Therefore, it stands to reason that a series of postponements would be his legacy to the club.

Football Man - My understanding was that the Manager had allocated a substantial sum of money to address the pitch problem during the close season as the Club could no longer rely solely on Willo the Cat to get games on for them, whether that happened or not I'm not sure but it certainly doesn't seem like it. Incidentally I half expected to see you at Hornchurch yesterday, Uncle Urchin was meeting and greeting all afternoon so you needn't have been afraid of bumping into him.

Rhodes, this is your asumption not your understanding, please tell me of any football club that would invest over 20k to improve the pitch, that twelve months later could find themselves not playing at that venue.Even you know grants are not given with less than 5 year lease agreement and with both clubs at Copthall only having a annual agreeement with the council, so only a fool would invest money on the current arrangements. happybouncer

Could Nellie possibly come on to explain why Kentish Town v Chalfont St Peter are down to play in both Non League papers on Wednesday at the Copthall Stadium however the fixture doesn't appear on Football Mitoo, obviously it's irrelevant anyway as even if the game was scheduled it would be postponed and punters wouldn't be silly enough to just turn up from far and wide.
