I think that is who he is talking about, had the pleasure of marking him first game of the season and his run making and touch is a lot better than most forwards I've seen this season (albeit in Div 2)

if not atleast they gave it a good try and beat teams that no one ever thought they would beat and im 100% sure they wont be relegated which most people thought we would.
You dont hear anyone from KTFC writing saying that they are gonna win the league and i dont think they expected to either but hey
why not now go for the league now as they are showing people not to underestimate them.

COME ON BOYS PROVE THEM WRONG,EVERYONE AT KTFC DESERVES IT EVEN CLEM.

Exactly as recommended by The FA. It only affects things at certain times of the year and of course when it is sunny grin

The main upside is that of course on those frosty wintry days the main stand won't be sheltering the pitch from any sun and therefore melting any ice or snow - I recall that affecting other pitches badly and particularly Stansted's!

Yes I remember that day well Wader, when HX kindly sent down a team of volunteers to clear the snow & then sent the other team to turn us over 2-0 !!! I suppose it was just revenge on us for being responsible for your only home defeat earlier on in the season though !!! LOL

The pitch on the stand side, always used to get boggy, because it never saw any sunlight.

JackSparrow - Kentish Town will be the first to admit that they have found the Premier Division a lot easier than they expected it would be following their promotion last season, their only setback has been the 6-0 defeat at Leverstock Green and that can be put down to a bad day at the office when five or six key players went AWOL. I strongly believe that they will win the Championship comfortably, possibly even by Easter, particularly if Prodigal Son Lee Scott can somehow be persuaded to return to the fold in January, that would certainly be the icing on the cake. As long as Clement is allowed to Coach the team in his unique style without outside interference, as has often been the case this season such as at Wellingborough Town, then they are by far the best pound for pound team in the division and the cream usually rises to the top, by way of example Javier Rivera and Eddie Nazary didn't even travel to St Margaretsbury on Saturday.

Lato - Do you want to read Tring Athletic's version of events from Saturday and compare notes as it were, it sounds like a wonder Beckhamesque goal was scored although I'm sure Selhurst Park is longer than Cow Lane:

A good day. I worked my buns off clearing that snow in the morning. Little Billy Drake worked some magic for us if I remember rightly and poor old Harry (God rest his soul) fainted in the clubhouse. The Stansted win at BA was quite a shock, I was doing the tannoy that day as well. Is "Half a Bushell" and "Run Like an Antelope" still shouting his magic words?

Jacksparrow - I recall making a similar post this time last season to much derision and although they hadn't wrapped up the championship by Easter, because it came early this year, it wasn't that long after. I would start putting salt and pepper on that backside of yours if I were you, admitedly Biggleswade Town will be a danger but I know a lot of their players are mercenaries and don't play with their hearts on their sleeves whereas the majority of Kentish Town's players have been with the Club since the tender ages of 13 and 14 and would die for the cause.

Mrs Keeps - You know full well that that's the case, mercenaries are attracted to money like moths to a flame and I still believe there is a 2k a week wage budget at Biggleswade Town if not more.

And I still believe that new Edgware FC of which you are a huge part of is planning for a bigger budget than that ludicrous figure you claim. And what with huge groundshare costs (everyone knowing you are being bankrolled by millionares so will up the price) you'll need all of that money that in the past you have been so sour about.

Wader - So how much is your weekly wage budget then if it isn't 2k, Kevin Cooper must be on a fair whack for example.

I'm not prepared to divulge that as you are likely to try and poach him and others for New Edgware FC, I know you can be like that. On the other hand they will of course be below your level what with the rumours of your proposed massive budget now circulating.

What did they say at The Emirates to your groundshare proposal?
