Ha Ha indeed great win, you guys must start to be stronger now at the back and move up that table, the capability is there to play Step 5 at the very least, a run of 5-6 wins is a must now so when you wake up in the morning with a hang over, get a good breakfast into you and start planning :-)

The result is hardly surprising with Leon Rolle and Michael Ingall-Clarke left unused on the bench:

Rhodes. Instead of sniping at Haringey again you could of course have said that under the respected Justin Moseley Brimsdown are pulling it together and trying to achieve things. Give credit where it is due please. Justin is doing a job at Brimmo under difficult circumstances. He has my respect.

He could have said that, but he would be lying, if he had. Things are bad when your top goal scorer is "own goal"!!!!!

A good win for Hanwell saturday and plenty of goals, now need to show consistancy in their league results and put a run together.Congratulations also to Benfica for for their success in the FA Vase, they also need to start getting results in the league, but a good cup run will help their bank balance.A good point for Kingsbury that keeps them in the mix.

Tokyngton also had a useful draw at Ampthill that will help their position.

Head Shortie - What happened to Welwyn Garden City, I was amazed at that result.

You was the one that said the manager had turned the side 360 degrees around, but Hanwell played them off the park and a great hatrick for Baverstock. I hope Hanwell follow this result up, as i have said before they can blow hot and cold and need to be more consistant.

What game did you watch at the weekend.

I tried to watch my nephew play yesterday in the harrow youth league, but it was washed out.

I was at Mauritius Sports v Clapton in the Essex Senior League on Saturday at Wadham Lodge, Waltham Forest's old ground, it was a 4-4 draw and the game had everything. I'm not quite sure why there was a welcoming party for me at Kentish Town as I had made it clear I was going to that game but sorry if I let anyone down.

Hanwell Town were very poor when I last saw them against Broxbourne Borough in the Premier Division Cup and they lost 2-0, that's why I was so surprised they won 7-0 on Saturday against such a form team.

How did you find the standard of the Essex Senior as opposed to the Spartan Rhodes?

Hanwell are more than capable of going on a good run, thing they remembered well the 3-2 defeat at WGC earlier in the season, hence the bashing they gave them. I dont think WGC should worry after the terrible start they are in a nice position currently.

Bosman08 - Good question, to be honest I found the standard inferior and I think all SSML Premier Division Club's would have wiped the floor with Mauritius Sports and Clapton on Saturday other than perhaps Haringey Borough. To be fair though the game itself was an old fashioned classic with Mauritius leading 2-0 at the break only for Clapton to come out the traps in the second half and race into a 4-2 lead. Mauritius then regrouped and pulled it back almost getting a winner right at the death, it was certainly worth every penny of the

Just watched Broxbourne somehow lose 2-1 to Hanwell, good entertaining game, Hanwell won it with 5 minutes to go with a 25 yard strike into the top corner stanction that was fit to win any game, it completed a comeback after being 1-0 down at half time to a Broxbourne side who should have been out of sight after an hour but they missed guilt edged opportunity after guilt edged opportunity, and I'm not exaggerating !....be interesting if there was any one else there to comment, i'm still scratching my head as to how the Broxbourne center forward isnt tucked up at home with the matchball !

Played in the broxbourne game 2nite!! 2nite is the exact reason as to why we wont challenge for the title!! Im not exaggerating when i say we could and should have scored 6 or 7!! Good tempo to the game with both sides playing some lovely stuff!! The 17 year old kid that won the game for them was a very good player, wat a strike!!!!
