Maybe Kentish Town have just flatterd with their early results and this was the wake up call?

I did not go to football today, busy at work, but good result for the Tigers. It's funny how I choose to follow the Tigers in Non league this seaons and they now sit proud at the top of the table...could I witness two championships in three seasons...Edgware in 2007 and Kingsbury LT in 2009???

I wonder if Kingsbury will apply for promotion, they would need to do a bit to pass for step 4, but its possible, and with Hendon now looking for a new home having left Claremont Road this week, who knows, perhaps they can groundshare at Silver Jubilee Park and share the cost with Kingsbury to upgrade the ground to make it fit for the Ryman league, this would benifit both Kingsbury and Hendon if they shared there.

It would make a heck of a lot more sense for Hendon to groundshare with Kingsbury then Wembley.as its just down the road from Claremont Road.

I read that if Hendon drew with Dulwich in the FA Cup today the replay would be at Harrow Boro...the match was a draw so looks like Earlsmead will be Hendon's first port of call.

Press statement from Hendon FC

Ryman League Press Release - Friday 26th September 2008
The Board of the Ryman League has been working with Hendon Football Club Limited and representatives of the Hendon FC Supporters Trust over the last two months to enable a continuation of the Club.

The Board was disappointed this week to receive a letter from a Director of the Company closing the ground with immediate effect and explaining the reasons behind the decision.

The Company wishes to transfer its membership of the League to the Supporters Trust but the League is not able to deal with that until the Company has satisfied The Football Association and the League itself in relation to the transfer of membership. The Board wishes to enable the Club to continue to play football while negotiations are ongoing; to that end the Board will allow Hendon FC Limited to play its home matches on suitable alternative grounds until the end of the current season.

The League requires the Company to deposit with the League within 7 days a sum of

Lots of changes today in the table if what you say above is 100% Rhodes i must asssume Javier Rivera had an injury as he is a cut above the "son", maybe the result proves this. I'm sure KTFC will come back from this loss, but this is their first season at Step 5 so far so good for them. I cannot remember my orginial prediction for them but it was lower half im sure, long way to go.

Oxhey Jets moving up nicely im sure they wont be promoting themselves as favourites but if they perform as they have so far lets see what the table is like at Xmas, I have a sneaky feeling for them.

Brimsdown now bottom, alarm bells ringing at Enfield surely as only team left now without a victory, WGC and Haringey both with decent results which help their plight at near the foot of the table.

Congrats to Hadley top of Division 2, looks like a good race for the title and promotion in that division now.

I see Kingsbury v Broxbourne, sadly the game was dominated by the worst refereeing I've seen in a long long time, I really wouldnt know where to begin in describing some of his decisions, only that Broxbourne where on the receiving end in a mad 10 minute spell at the end of the first half that see them 3-0 at half time !

Saw Kingsbury's excellent win over Broxbourne today. Good open game, and excelent hospitality, including free sausages and roast tatties for three complete strangers!! Thanks very much Kingsbury.

Before people start jumping on the "criticise the referee" bandwagon, I would just like to say that the young ref I saw today was one of the best I have seen this season. He hardly put a foot wrong, kept control of the game and generally used a great deal of common sense. Coincidently I saw the same ref earlier in the season and he was pretty good then too. Oh, and I should just mention that I was supporting the losing team at Coles Park!

Should also mention that Kingsbury had BOTH goalkeepers injured, the first went off in the first half with a very painful looking thigh strain (I think), and his replacement needed 5 minutes of treatment in the second half after making the save of the match.

Agree about the referee though.

Two missing Division 1 results from yesterday, no wonder Special1 has been conspicuous by his absence:

1 3 Sport London e Benfica v Hoddesdon Town

I wouldn't know as I wasn't there but presumably he started the game, what I do know is that a former Colombian Youth International and West Ham trialist was left on the bench.

OK, what happened then? Confidence should have been high at KTFC with the great start but it seems its very unpredictable in the Prem and Div 1 this year with lots of goals been scored and big defeats for a lot of teams. Div 2 seems more clear cut with about 6 who will break away from the rest.

So as I said UU he was wrong again and as he is allowed to post his opinions then surely I am. The difference being between our posts mine are based on facts.

And as for moving on.........have you told Rhodes to move on UU or is just me that has to?
