Saw this one this afternoon, Lenny Piper was a class apart for Beckenham - way too good for the Kent League - and Aaron Barnett also played for them. They had a young bloke on the left wing who was lightning quick and looked absolute quality - Alex something. Aaron Robinson played for Deal and Paul Lamb's still there but missed the match with an ankle injury.

Yes Lenny was released from Ramsgate, and agree jeff, far too good for the Kent League.

Talking of ex-players Lawrence Yiga came on as a sub for Fisher yesterday. Had played for Torquay and Tiverton pre-season.

Another player-Yiga- who may well have done an ok job for us ,and will improve with age.

from what i saw of him -he looked to have more potential than Akinde.

 

I believe Yiga was on the receiving end of Trotts infamous quote that 'he could'nt be bothered to work with him'.

To be fair to Trott, Yiga has hardly proved him wrong. He has drifted from club to club.
