Easy win really, East Thurrock never really looked like getting back into the game once Flackie gave us the lead. I reckon this season we're going to see a lot of goals one way or another, we look excellent going forwards but I'm not convinced about us when we haven't got the ball. Roll on Staines!

Buckfield (Worster), McSweeney (Keys), Semanshia , Triallist (Heffer), Cole, Shave (Marron), Ferguson (Chatting), Hunter, Flack (West), Bricknell (Burbridge), Wareham

Not the same intensity as Tuesday but a very comfortable win for us nonetheless. More minutes on the pitch for Flackie and a couple of goals too. I think that there have been some common themes through pre-season, as Simes said, we look fantastic going forward but perhaps not the same going backwards. Our defence of their free-kick goal was odd to say the least.

I reckon probably 8 places settled now with maybe one centre back, one centre mid and one centre forward not quite decided with the personnel we have available.

Onto the real stuff now, lets hope our prowess in front of goal can continue.

Come on you blues!!!

Really pleasing to see Joe Flack look so sharp and hungry for goals. Stephen Ferguson for me doesn't seem quite so effective wide right, so I would be looking for him to start with Joe up front and Bradley on the right injury permitting.

So far preseason Dave Wareham has been an absolute revelation on the left wing, PLEASE don't use him at left back - I am a bit worried we are going to miss Danny Kerrigan if Ashley is not fit.

I thought Joe Flack looked really sharp and has got better and quicker each friendly that i have been to.

LEON played a great commanding game.

Our number 5 Cleary (I think) looked really strong and seemed to fit in well with the lads.

ETU number 3 had a mare of a game and nice to see our lads frustrate him at every point.

Nice turn out by the Ricky fans.

Right...I'm going to contridict BB on Flackie. He looked fitter and sharper but by no means was he as fit as he was at the start of last season, which is understandable...he will get fitter and sharper as he gets more games. With that in mind, two goals ain't bad for someone that is firing on three cylinders...the forth will hopefully be working next season.

Leon is becoming more consistant every game he plays. And he doesn't need to do the MOTM bit. He just sits and commands the team. A fine replacement for Jamie Dormer whilst he is out injured.

Yep, I thought our No. 5 was okay. I would prefer him playing next to Cole though. The lad has a lot to learn and Cole is a fine teacher.

Dave Wareham is certainly a revelation on the left and I don't mind him playing left back ut I believe Wayne is the better option, as long as Wareham tracks back.

Last but certainly least...Billy Bricknell. A fine performance by him. With himself and Burbs, we have options up front.

Overall the performance was under Tuesdays performance BUT which player wants to get injured a week before the season starts?

Looking forward to next Saturday, when it counts!!!
