The only question I would ask is how a ticket can be "Non Transferrable" if two are sent out as a prize to 1 individual? Unless they are sent for a specific named person, then I would guess they could be given to anyone to use? Or did you have to confirm the name & address detyails for the people to use the season tickets?

 

I assume that the main issue in this case would actually be the "personal gain" bit as presumably the club would be paid by the competition organisers for the tickets? And even if they aren't, they are providing season tickets for 2 people so they should be available to use by anyone (as long as its the same person throughout the season, of course)and wont lose out from this as such.

Just picking up on this bit - why? If you have bought and paid for a season ticket, and therefore given the club money in advance - why shouldn't you be able to give the ticket to someone else if you can't make the game? It might be the encouragement they need to come back for more!

I agree with the above. And I suspect the only thing the club is trying to prevent is someone trying to make a profit from selling them. Not sure how one would do that, however. If the seller is trying to get more than the official price, one would just buy th season ticket from the club.

 

Gadget, is there a loophole somewhere we haven't discussed that requires these to be non-transferable? Just wondering under what circumstances a transferred ticket would hurt the club.

look i dont want to make a big thing about it all i want to do is sell cos i seems like a waste if it dont get used, so if anyone is interrested its still on offer to sell, so please get back asap.
