So after 6 weeks of running, running and running season starts tomorrow. Any late signings or rumours flying around. Game of the day for me will be Badshot vs Chertsey - will be good to see how both teams start the season, could mean alot come end of year.

Just been reading the Surrey Ad. Reece White and Paul Andrews have gone to Badshot Lea. I think they will be a tough proposition this season. I was really impressed with Reece last season. Also Ash have made some decent signings. Aaron Roberts being one from Sandhurst. Another side who will be tough to beat. I just hope no-one runs away with it and we have a reaaly good season. Unless it is Camberley that runs away with it

Down to Cove tomorrow and will get the chance to meet Baldy Duncs, RugRat Johnno and I think I read that fat kent Willo will be there too

Quietly confident that we'll have a decent season this year and hopefully get amongst the top 6 or 7 places in the league. We have strengthened in a couple of areas and we will be more of a force going forward which is what we lacked at vital times last season.

 

Also, strongly linked with us is, in my opinion, one of the best attacking players in this league who could well be signing today...

 

At home to PB's BTKs tomorrow so a very tough start is in store with Wednesdays trip to Guildford

how long will it take for the parents of these cobham kids. to be bleating, that he is only 16/17. if they put a shirt on, they should exspect no favours. it wont be tommorow, but they will come up against teams, that kick for fun.

To be fair none of the parents that do watch have ever brought up the age thing and they certainly don't expect favours.

They are aware that they are playing senior football and if they do get a kick just bounce back up and get on with it rather than getting the handbags out like so many of the senior players!!

The best way is to show the oppo up next time they get on the ball (something that happened with the first goal they scored last night against FG!!), as that is a much better way that kicking someone back!!

Rumour has it Egham are signing a forward from Conference South today. Banstead are adding 4 players today in time for kick off tomorrow & Chertsey will be added yet another impressive signing from Step 4?
