Hendon v Margate, 13th December

This game might have to be moved. A news item on Hendon's website says they are in the process of drawing up a groundshare agreement with Wembley FC of the Combined Counties League, which they hope to begin as soon as possible.

 

We are away to Hendon on December 13, yet Wembley are also down to be at home that day. Obviously I don't know what the terms of the groundshare will be, but it is possible we might have to play on the Sunday or Friday night. Though I think the higher status club takes priority in some shares (such as Fisher and Dulwich).

 

Anyway, here are some pics of Wembley's ground which, as far as I know, we have never played at before...

So that's Wembley's stadium. How the hell did they get eighty thousand in there for the cup final-was no one from health and safety around to do a risk assessment?

Given that the Combined Counties League decided to ignore warnings that this may well crop up when sorting out their fixtures, we've got no less than 12 potential clashes with Wembley. If we can get everyone that needs to agree to do so, then we'll probably move 6 and ask Wembley to move 6 for this season. For future seasons, fixtures should be sorted out to avoid clashes on anything other than cup dates.
