Close game. First goal was great individual play on Cobhams part, but poor defending on Frimleys. Second a cross from the right and lad unmarked at the back post with an empty net to aim for.

 

The Cobham keeper couldn't catch a cold but Frimley couldn't capitalise and best chance fell at 0 - 0 but Cobham cleared off the line after the keeper dropped it - again.

Thanks guys, but alas I wasn't in goal (gits!!). Think my sudden appearance there made the keeper a bit nervous and TC is right, he couldn't catch a cold (hi Rory!!).

Thought Cobham looked ok and it was a close game, but believe Cobham deserved it overall.

Think their main issue this season will be the lack of experience. Last nights midfield included a 16 y.o. (he scored the first) and a 17 y.o. but to be fair they held their own, plus another 17 y.o. in defence and I believe they will all be in the first team plans. The eldest player was 24!!

You're right I should of but didn't think you would be in the best of moods.

Was impressed with your skipper. He was by far your most outstanding player and just a shame some of his team mates weren't on the same level. Also the smaller of the CB's looked good (especially in the second half), nice and composed on the ball.

i get over the losing pretty quick after the game and then let it build up until Tuesday at training.

 

Skipper is very good and so was the smaller of the center backs he is my normal right back but had to move to the middle because of injuries which we picked up 4 last night which makes 11 players I cant choose tomorrow. Center forward landed from lads holiday at 4:30 pm so was a bit off the pace.

get your excuses in early eh lads? Dorking havent won a game for about 15 matches, and I think the last was against guvnor 1 s side which doesnt really count.

You dont need to be too scared of coming to Meadowbank, even though jr has announced another six signings today!

I am being honest when i say its all about getting through the first week. I was on the phone to tc and even considered playing myself. then realised I forgot to sign myself on
