1. Teffers is on happy hols, (probably Bangkok !)

2. We are HOPING the lease will be signed and finalised today. Just petty legal points between the two sets of solicitors at the moment.

3. Last PSF against Chipstead ended up 1-3, after being 1-1 at H/T. TW decided to give 9 others a run out in the 2nd half as this was his last opportunity before the season proper.

4. I don't think the length of the proposed lease will get us any decent F.A. funding, so for the time being the changing rooms will remain the same.

Greeting Kents smile had a great holiday with the wifey and bin lids and catching up on all the posts i can be bothered to read wink

Anyway regarding TSF comments about Bookham and improvements at Dorking, Bookham have been assisting with the pitch in a time and monetory value for the coming season so I would take that as a yes we want to see the ground improving and are prepared to assist when we can without making promises that cant be kept.

For the record some time ago as discussion was had regarding the offer to Dorking to if they wanted, their Reserves could use Bookham home ground.

We have a good relationship/friendship with Dorking and want too see both sides building for the future.

The possibility of a reserves side has been discussed and is an option for the future.

Off-The-Pitch problems of the past few months has been the main priority, obviously !

The club has had no reserve side for some seasons now, and I thought that was because the club went down the groundsharing route (not just with Bookham)

the court case was won in April, a Director of Football put in place, which I thought was a great move, and Dorking have had some time since then to enter a reserve side in a suitable league.

The possibility was discussed, but it didnt happen, and I wonder why?

Are you able to tell us the reasons behind the decision?

Whilst I realise Im p!55ing a lot of people off who arent involved with Dorking fc, I am trying to get people who used to go down the club interested in going down again.

The questions I ask are along the lines of the ones I get asked.

If the club opened up its forum again these questions could be dealt with there, and perhaps we could drum up a bit more support again. Its not always possible or sensible to badger the club officials on a match day.
