Beach and animal lovers finally have some good news, it may be the first time in 100 years that there are no donkeys on the beach of Margate during the summer, however there will be 11 donkeys on show all year round at Hartsdown Park!

Personally, and (almost) away from the football aspect, I think it is sad that the donkeys are going from Margate beach.

 

Mind you, when I lived in Byron Avenue we used to play football in the back alley where our game was constantly interrupted by the donkeys coming down from what used to be a field at the top.

 

The only football match that ever got stopped by donkeys walking over the pitch!

Perhaps butler could run the donkey rides ?But he would have to make sure he cleans his own crap up, we dont want the Donkeys getting dirty feet.
