Good work-out I thought, looked very good in attack where our pace and movement was impressive. I liked the shape with Burbs providing the fulcrum and Ferguson through the middle just off him. First half hat-trick from Fergie, 2 of the goals made by BWG who was also excellent.

2nd half we made a load of substitutions but still looked good. Maldon had a good spell just after half time with Shave clearing one off the line, but he then forced 2 good saves from their keeper. They pulled a goal back, but late on the ball bounced over the line after a goalmouth scramble to make it 4-1

Worster, McSweeney (Keys), Semanshia (Chatting), Heffer, Shave, Woods-Garness (Marron), Hunter (Black), Burbridge (Bricknell), Ferguson (West), Wareham

A very good performance although the defence still looks a bit disorganised. A word about Dave Wareham who seems a different player to when he was here last time. Very quick and willing to take his man on. With him on the left and Bradley on the right we could have a potent strike force.

Can I also comment on the excellent website, well done to those involved and very interesting to get some Youtube commentary so quickly after the game.

I would agree, a very good performance. We're lightning quick up front and at times, turned defence into attack at such a pace, we were unlucky to not get more goals.

The defence did look a little disorganised BUT we had a new centre back playing (trialing?) for us and considering it was his first game, with players he didn't know...he did okay. I believe he is a young guy and would like to see what he can do with Cole next to him. Was quite unusual to see him doubling up on the right with Macca in the second half...Maybe a little more dicipline is needed...

Overall, a fine performance and answer to the "tired" performance against Brentwood last Saturday.

One more game to go and 3 training sessions and we should be ready.

I thought it was our best effort of the pre-season so far - hopefully we are gearing up to peaking at the right time!!

Our forward play has generally been good in pre-season but last night I agree that we were excellent, we honestly looked like scoring every time we went forward. If BWG can play with that head on every game, it's surely only a question of time before he plays league football.

We looked pretty comfortable in midfield and at the back and it's good to see that we have a number of options in these areas.

The only downer was the news about Gameo, let's hope for a more successful outcome this time.
