Pitches ...

We played on Saturday at Hillindon FC's 3g pitch (nice facility, best clubhouse I've seen), that's near Ruislp West Station I think. I'm sure there are mixed opinions about these surfaces but needs must and other Senior clubs like Harefield block book them throughout pre-season.

They've spent a fortune on automatic sprinklers and improved drainage. Now a really nice pitch.

True Roland but if it doesnt rain too much Colliers Wood is a good pitch. Think the guy there may well have helped out Chessington and Cobham too but not sure. Cobham has always been flat just grassless. If they keep the grass on it will be good. Glad to hear Wembleys is looking good Gussy smile Any news on Eghams ?

Sorry guys I couldn't resist. Think it would have been softer ground playing in the carpark!!

Used to love my visits there either diving about in goal, or attempting to be smashed by Graham Purdy!!

The only place I had to wear trackuit bottoms on the first game of the season before was at Raynes Park Vale 8 years ago.

Yep, game still on. They are in yellow and we are in our sky-blue 4th kit.

Yes it is where the stand was delivered but there is no rutes there it is where the grass has not grown it is flat and not dangerous. Hope you enjoyed the day and the game.

I had an enjoyable visit www., thankyou. Congratulations to all involved in getting the stand and clubhouse sorted, very good facilities there now.

I apologise for my description of the area on the pitch, unfortunate but inevitable that its right by the entrance, it certainly caught my eye.

Im sure its no longer dangerous and will settle down in time. Is that area why you had to call off a previous PSF?
