I will be coming back from France on the 16th and so will miss this match.

 

I thought that I would do some research on our opponents so have visited their web site. I thought that this was interesting on their forum.

I am putting forward a proposal to change the club name from Maldon Town to Freemasons United because it seems that it is easier to get information from the Freemasons than anyone at Maldon. Tonights game against Stanway Rovers showed away on Stanways website and home on this website, I see now that the page showing the fixtures has disappeared, and a remark states that the game is at Colchester Uniteds training ground. Not knowing where the ground is and obviously getting no help from this website I rang Colchester United and was told that they dont actually have their own training ground, but it could be at the Essex University. I give up !!!!!!. Management and Officials at Maldon Town are always complaining that they do not get very good support and only get small crowds is it any wonder.

Beware of the mind games, are they dropping us into a false sense of security? Ignore this guys grievances he could just be plank that cant read properly, no complacency, treat Maldon as an able set up for our first game.
