Anyone know what year this away shirt is from.

 

Im tempted but i dont think it will fit.

Fairly recent but wouldn't like to hazard a guess on the season.

I'd say 1998-99, the season after our demotion from the Conference.

This shirt is from the Conference days, as the home shirt was identical, just Amber.

If I remember they printed a load of shirts with a sponsor which never was?? In the end it was sponsored by Cable Corporation??

it certainly looks like a 1996-1997 shirt rendered in white as opposed to amber, but the weave of the fabric (noticeable on sleeves) is completely different to the home one.

This shirt was born for our 1994-1995 campaign in the Ryman Premier League following our relegation from the Conference, under Dave Russell's guidance we jumped straight back (albeit not winning the league, we came 2nd, George Borg's Enfield won it but they had financial irregularities!!!). Our 1st 11 that season was: Bunting, Clement, Lee, Baron, Bateman, Nwaokolo, Dell, Catlin, Sayer, West, Bushay

I have the adult version of this shirt at home, complete with the Cable Corporation sponsor. I thought it was from the 1997/8 season but I will bow to the superior knowledge of others!

All the programmes i have from 97-98 point to it being that year but i cant remember how long cable corporation sponsored slough town for.

96-97. I Think Nathan has the team photo with the cable corporation home shirt being worn.

 

Incedentally i have one from the 60s/70s. Number 2 on the back i think.
