Just for a bit of fun, I'd like you regulars on our forum to predict your top 4 and bottom 3 in the premiership top 6 and bottom 3 in the championship top 6 and bottom 4 in div 1 and top 7 bottom 2 div2 As well as top 5 and bottom 3 Ryman North Div 1.All in positional order.

 

Team in correct pos=5pts

Team in incorrect pos but in one of allocated places=2pts

Team nominated for one of the top places i.e promotion/play off place but end up in a respective bottom places= -5pts

 

I'll keep scores and post them on the forum monthly

 

Just for fun amongst us fans up to you guys? I might even e-mail Ciaran and get the predictions in the match program too.

I didn't go ETFC for first as I have an abysmal record in these sort of competitions and I didn't want to hex them!

I sympothise totally, but I could not bear to cheer on anyone else to top spot aheah of Town, which I would'nt of course and not for 5pts either.

Then your Sports Minister tells our Sports Minister(who, by the way looks like ALL Sports Ministers should look) that you will out-medal us.

 

We've already won the Bogan* Trackies Medal in the dressup Parade.

*I think CHAV is an appropriate tyranslation.

Unfortunately we couldn't match Kyrgistan in the Silly Hats Section where their brilliant improvisation of turning upside down their used Takeaway Noodle Containers and using them as hats swept the pool.

Hi guys, as promised I will post our scores of knowledge at the end of each month'ish to see how we are doing in our pro soccer predictions for 2008/09.

 

Only Gazza, Wagga and GD entered plus myself of course.

 

Gazza scores 47 however predicted Hull, Yeovil,ETFC and Tilbury at the wrong end of their league tables so he totals 27pts for now.

 

Wagga scores a credible 40, BUT, predicted Hull,Yeovil,PNE,Accrington,B'mouth,Tilbury,ETFC and Leyton at the wrong end of their respective table so scores a 0pt. Early days mate.

 

GD, scores 39 but loses 15pts for predicting Yeovil,ETFC and Tilbury incorrectly (for now) his score is therefore 24.

 

EU, well what can I say, I scored 50 but slipped up by forecasting Hull,Yeovil,ETFC and Tilbury at the wrong end of the table, my final score is therefore 30.

2nd Gazza 27

3rd GD 24

4th Wagga 0

 

Early days yet, our emotions will drag from one end to the other as the season unfolds, sit tight lads and being calm pays dividends.
