When we do get new ground financing plans, I'd really like to see a comparison to rebuilding SR. Although if the club's not going to be paying for building the new stadium, we'd be foolish to look a gift-horse in the mouth. I guess it's down to what kind of rent we'd have to pay.

It's VERY unlikely that the Landlords are interested in letting us redevelop where we are, that land is worth too much, even with the credit crunch, long term they will want us out.

I guess - close to Ebbsfleet International Station, Northfleet Station, Bluewater, A2, M25.... All would make this a highly desirable commuter development location.

Downsides would be the close proximity to the industry on the river, but people buy at the end of runways & alongside train-tracks...

How long is left on that agreement? Long enough for the 'crunch' to turn back into 'boom'?

Long term, I don't see the land just been 'given' to the club - and I doubt the site would be large enough to provide the non-football activities that would be needed to support the cost of a new stadium anyway

Not 100% sure, but I think about 15 years, to 2023.
