I was a centre stand ticket holder for decades & have it on good authority that the change was only done to price me out, because some of the guests sitting around & below me had been too fragile for my twin brother's rather robust comments, which would be frequently & extremely loudly directed at sundry very annoying opposition players & infinitely more annoying match officials. With his favourite target Graham W returning, they knew they had just better not take any risks. evil

So the wing stand it is for us, with knees up either side of our ears if we can't get out the bar in time for the front row.

Dont clubs qualify for a grant to assist with some works after promotion? And I am correct in thinking that, apart from safety issues, most of the modifications do not have to be done immediately, but have a season or two in which to be completed?

Good lord!

Histon's ground has everything wrong that can possibly be wrong in a ground.

They have an unlit wooded area near by.

The entrance to the ground is dangerously situated on a main road.

There is only one entrance.

If you don't stand in the front row then you don't see anything as there are no steps as the gound goes back. Oh there are at the home end.

A blind woman with a dog sells the programmes, I could have just took one and walked off (not really, I'm making it up but I'm sure there was something funny about their programme seller.)

Allstars Tours get lost in the woods.

I have no idea, but it should be considered. Buying the ground and developing it, when they can afford to do it, would seem preferable to me, than sinking money into a ground they might never be able to afford! The cost of a new ground, or the financing of building a new ground, has never been revealed on here, and as the Club is now losing more money than ever by increasing the playing budget, with little or no guarantee that revenue is going to increase!

With the carparking at Ebbsfleet Station, it now has the best parking facilities ever, and doesn't cost the club anything(except lost revenue that it gave away/gained years ago in becoming a Bus Graveyard anyway).
