Went to the 3rd/4th place play off and Final of Dave Wilson Trophy.

 

Saw Molesey beat Dorking 2-1, both teams very poor in my opinion and would struggle in Div 1 let alone the Prem

 

Epsom then beat Banstead in Final on pens after game ended 1-1. Tight game but think Epsom deserved the win slightly

i saw redhill open their new stand and beat reigate priory.

reigate priory, members of the surrey elite league, never going to beat redhill four or five divisions above them but they put in a good performance. having seen dorking twice preseason i would sadly have to put dorking a lot nearer priory's standard than redhill's.

 

redhill had a very good young player centre midfield, scored a fine free kick and a certain marcel dennis scored a tap in and was unlucky with a 20yd curler that hit the post and went across face of goal. i believe it was three nil but i sloped off to the bar prior to final whistle.

Hartley Wintney 1-1 Westfield

 

Harltley Wintney absolutely battered us for the first half hour and should have been more than 1 up, played some good stuff. However we managed to put together the move of the match and grabbed an undeserved equaliser right on half time

Second half we slightly had the better and missed 4 glorious chances including 1 miss of the season.

some of our boys were made to play a reserve team fixture after the awful display against hartley on thursday, we beat a very good and youthful(apart from barney) camberley res , much better performance but still something needs to click,

sorry to cambo for putting out a much stronger side than we was meant to but when you get beat 4-1 something needed to be done , anyway you gave us a good run for the money , think cambo will be a strong outfit this season ,

what happened to jamie-lee did he not fancy it done all the warm up then a no show on the pitch !!!!!

Has been injured Nut, got smashed at Pegasus last week and was still struggling in warm up so decided not to risk it.

 

We beat Marlow United 3-2, 3-0 up after 50 minutes then got sloppy and let in 2 near the end.

 

Thank god pre season is over and we can get on with the proper stuff.

Cove 3 AFC 1 goals from Mitch While, Martin Girling and a wonder strike from man of the match Alex Jeffers sealed a good win for the lads.Not the best AFC side you will ever see but still gave a good account of themselves.

Guildford City 3 Farnham Town 2 , we were 3-1 up gave a sloppy goal away ten mins from time but on the whole not a bad performance , we looked very good in patches and with 2 games this week against strong opposition in Godalming and Walton & Hersham we should be 90% there by fisrt league game , looking forward to a good season .

yes pb , pre season is always a hard slog trying to get back into the swing of things ....

how the old lammas boys doing , will they make the cut , think webby will play in your side along with joe but the others will struggle in my opinion ,

we have done well to replace them and got a couple of good young boys from ashford and staines that look the business but will see come the real stuff on saturday ,

Doing well mate, Liam is on holiday at minute and we have signed Justin Gray from Farnborough so will see what he wants to do. Dale has been very impressive, Joe also but lacks confidence, he has a trial at Gillingham Tuesday. Jay has done well and Jamie has been injured.

 

Got to try and keep 20 very good players happy now which will be the hard part.
