Interesting to note on the Cambrige City forum, any deals for him were considered finished, as perhaps the player couldn't make up his mind,now apparently Histon are still after him but can't raise the fee.

I wonder if this is our situation as well, after the Gash transfer,as I note that Liam still wants a midfielder and a striker to complete the squad.

Simpson is a weird one. His name keeps cropping up but am I right in thinking that he hasn't played for us at all?

 

Perhaps Daish doesn't want to play him giving others a chance to see him? I don't see how Daish can prevent others from giving him a trial though?

In the Messenger (or the Reporter, can't remember which one) it has Daish quoted as saying we've had a bid rejected.

 

Paul, I think you're right in saying he's never actually played for us.

Yes I am 100% certain he hasn't turned out for us,but I kind of get the impression that having had talks with various clubs, including ourselves, player is undecided so it's put up or shut up, according to the Camb. City manager.
