Storm. The trouble is Guildford are still a very small club, no bigger than Ash, Cove or other village clubs. With a 27 % increase on last season only gives us with a crowd of about 70 including away fans. The only way to keep big names is to pay them, the sums dont add up. So Storm get your soap box out, head for the town, and shout for the City! we need more big gobs.

I agree completely, full support from me now, it seems clear from this thread that a relegation battle is the likely outcome, at least Rusty can be judged fairly, picking up a side whom finished 2nd and no communication from the Chairman regarding the clubs position puts un-due pressure on a new manager.

Iv not come on here to argue, but purely defend myself against some liable comments made out of jealousy , lack of knowledge or a vendetor ? who knows ! but one thing is for sure I will as I did at DFC give the club 200% commitment and build a side as I have done in the past good enough to challenge for honours , so Storm why not join me for a beer and ask me what you like and recieve an honest answer from a genuine man ? Just judge me on a season thats all I ask

What I like about Rusty, a man I have never met, is that he talks, he has passion, mabe this forum is not the place to show passion, but in the two weeks he has been the manager he has had a bit in the Surrey ad both weeks something Scott & Lloyd never did until they were off. what all football fans crave is information thats why we love forums. But the best way to find new fans is keep filling the local paper with information. keep it up, any old stuff to keep Woking off the back page.
