I believe Guildford lost 2-3 to Hayes & Yeading.

 

Bookham were due to be playing tonight, but don't think they have a weekend fixture.

Another match under the belts and what sounds like a good performance from the lads. Went 2-1 up with goals from 'Joel' and Matty Edwards. Apparently the strikers are looking very good.

 

Can't comment much more as my source of information was very drunk at the time.

 

It's just a shame that a poster called "Calm" hadn't started a thread before you got here...

Sorry Hogsbelly, but your wrong, I am a supporter, I pay my money and have done for 3/4 years ever since my son played there, i'm just concerned for club this year and have heard several negative things about the man in charge, are you one of the student fans?

the big shoes have walked from the club storm, rusty is too busy putting his foot in his mouth to be chasing after old footware.

Scott and Lloyd were always too good for this level really, we all knew that. You can't replace like with like because they were such a one-off.

 

I personally am right behind the team this season and quietly optimistic from what I've been told (even by the most pessimistic supporter we have!)

 

I'm trying to work out whose side you are on here... someone pretending to be a City fan with an agenda against Andy Lunn? A concerned City fan? Someone who is fully supporting but doesn't choose their words properly?

The latter Sweeney to be honest. Lets hope things pick up, Scott and Lloyd were too good for this level, but hard to believe that the same kind of budget still available in their abscence, whether you like it or not it makes a difference, i guess my main concern is that are we lowering our aims this year.

storm they left because they didnt think they could repeat the season, guildford were bottom of the league without them, you are on a stay up season.
