Tiptree Game

Anybody know anything about the lad who got injured last night.

On our site, a suspected dislocated ankle but not much news on the Tiptree website.

Did anyone go? I wanted to, but it's such an awkward place to get to on a Tuesday night for a non-driver. I'd've definitely gone if it were on a Saturday.

Yes i went pretty dire game lad dislocated his ankle early doors, 1-0 down for most of the game, crow missed a pen, hit the bar a few times scored very late equaliser. Only thing i think we got from the game was the fact we cant play one up front.

Good. I don't want to see one up front.

Tiptree isn't the easiest of places to get to. Nearest station is Kelvedon and a taxi from there I believe.

 

As for the game, Gab had a lively match and was impressed with both Mark Nougher and Jon Edwards again.

 

We looked a bit sloppy in defence at times and gave the Tiptree right back (who was their best player) far too much space at times.

 

A draw was about the right result.

I was going to get the train and cycle from Kelvedon. Would've been a pain on the train, but Tiptree's only about five miles from Kelvedon. I changed my mind when I realised it was a Tuesday match.

Think the trains from Kelvedon are about one an hour of an evening anyway.

I think we can play one up front, but I'm not sure Jay Curran is that one. Think it would take Leon Antoine to play that system, and if he isn't available then maybe we should look for a plan B.

Just an update on Lee Owen....

 

His ankle was dislocated, and was put back into place at the hosptial that evening. He is in hospital on heavy pain killers for the moment, but quite positive news considering.
