Hartley lost 5-2 Home to knaphill

Had a lot of trialists first half and went 4 down in twenty minutes.

Looked much better second half but I don't want to take anything away from Knaphill. Under Savage who didn't play tonight they looked a quality side and I reckon will give a few sides in div 1 a run for promotion.

Will be interesting Thursday night at Staines to give an indication of the forthcoming season between these sides.

Just to add to my post, I'm a little disappointed that the side hasn't been sorted out at this point pre-season. With two friendlies left before we ko for the season we should be almost clear on our squad and getting the players to gel together and increasing their match fitness. Giving everyone half a game with half a side that might not even sign for us at this stage is extremely worrying.

Lets see what happens Thursday.

got the might westfield visiting you sat!!!tonight we drew 2-2 at home to banstead - a shaky banstead defence gifted us several first half chances but only one was taken- they equalised on half time

second half they controlled the game and scored a disputed penalty but ten min from the end another defensive mix up left the scores level

Good game overall bewteen 2 passing sides
