Dean Green played very well tonight as did Lee Hodges, some terrific play from them both and we looked much sharper when we brought on Janners and Wall. Overall an entertaining game and better performance than at Biggleswade.

cantos faild to mention that Kriss Lee and Simon Parker were substituted and Mark Janney and Ross Wall come on, during 2nd half.

 

 

 

first half not too good. But after the substitues were made in the second half, the Urchins really picked up their pace and played well. Come back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with goals from Dean Green and Ross Wall!

ok back to the match must say dean green was outstanding and fully deserved his goal and who was the midfield lad with no number built like a bullock charged up n down the park like a rhino, heart of a lion could play football as well someone said from ramsgate ?

how did the team get on last night? may have been the heat or the traffic, or having to be on the same coach as bob, but the players were not exactly getting on smoothly on saturday.

 

think tink has a point about the match updates - it is a woman's job. i reckon annie should attend the games and text updates to tink who can then update the forum. result is everyone's happy. interweb gets the latest from the urchins matches and our boys don't get sexually harassed by the ex-riverside-princess.

A draw was about all we deserved yesterday as ETU played very well and their Andrei Voronin look-a-like up front was a handful all evening. Perhaps we should enquire about his availability.

Dean Green was excellent as was Elliot Styles who clearly has no idea what a friendly is about because he tackled like there were three points at stake! Good man!

I hope we show better against the O's tomorrow and I'm sure we won't be repeating the 5-0 drubbing we gave them last year but you just never know with the mighty Urchins.

We were under it a little bit in the first half, Goddard was our best player imo, winning everything in the air and taking anyone out in the process, including his team mates. Is there anyone better than him at defensive headers? Our right-back was absolutely shocking, definately the weak link.

 

Second half much better, Janney and Wall linking up well, some nice touches from Hodges, a class act, Elliott was his consistant, aggresive self, setting the tempo with his tackling. Best performance by Deano since he has been with us, especially when he went up front, looked powerful.
