Didnt the really good left winger from Bedfont G go Chertsey. I think Abramovich will see where they are at Xmas and either stay or go from there, Coops must get promotion. Agree Bedfont Green could be up there, has all the players stayed though? Are they not at Yeading this year?

i didnt think BG were that good last year we played them at home and beat them 3-1 at banstead and we were not doing well , but football its a funny old game

No BG players have left the club for Chertsey as far as I'm aware and I know their manager quite well. Same squad and a few new additions from step 4 but Chertsey and Camberley are safer bets for the title.

he he, very good Krooner and not too far off the mark. BG will be looking to improve on last season's 9th placed finish but it won't be easy to compete with the likes of Chertski

For BG I wouldnt look at 9th place I would look at the form from the New Year. SO I reckon top 3 at least. You wil be disappointed at lower

Chertsey looked good going forward in our PSF but still dodgy at the back. Same at last year. Apparently there were only 5 'regulars' playing in the defeat the other day.

Like i said earlier only 4 or 5 have remained, not including Coops. To keep Paul Brooker is good, not sure how they managed that!! Would imagine he had some offers elsewhere.

Any ideas on who Coops has signed, cos of the 5 i heard have stayed i dont know of any others.

Like that CC. Always difficult to do something like that and not upset anyone but I reckon well judged.

 

A few years ago one of our supporters did a page in the programme. In the Clapton one he said "With all due respect to Clapton if we are ever to be considered promotion challengers these are the sort of teams we must beat"

 

One of the Clapton players went mental and wanted to fight him !!!!

Watched new boys Badshot Lea last night at Corinthian Casuals. Comfortable 2-0 win and missed a penalty.

On this showing and the new players they had on show 33-1 seems far too generous.

I think they will be nearer mid table bearing in mind they finished half way in probably a more difficult league last season
