All, been reading this for a few weeks now, thought i would register as i am a player in the Combined Counties League. Rumour has it Coops has bought in a hell of alot of new players only 4 players remain from last season - Pomroy, Muldowney , Hamsher, Gibson.

Be Intersting to see how they fair this season!!!

Bothered it depends on whether they are there just for the money or really wan to help Chertsey achieve something but im sure Coops will want to win something this year , i cant wait to go there and play them and see some old friends

Rusty your right, we will see if people are only there to collect an envelope each week or be prepared to put it about. Very important they have kept Pomroy as he scored so many last season they would have struggled without him!!

I said last Xmas that Chertsey would be favourites for this season and I see nothing that has changed my mind. Hopefully they will not get off to a roaring start and leave every one in the shade. It would be good to have a real good race for the title this year. I reckon Div 1 is going to be the league for a great race this year.

I think Camberley are the team to watch, decent last year, some new players in - could be more of a team than Chertsey. Guildford was decent last year but havent you lost all your players? NGU are very good also, reckon league will be very close this year, no Mertsham's running away with it.

We have lost about 5 players from last year but trying to sign experience ryman players so who knows not saying we will win but might shake a few teams up this year ,

Good attitude Rust, bllks to budgets etc. I don't think Chertsey will win it purely because what are the chances everyone will stay down there? Chairman included. I think my old mob at Bedfont Green will have more chance than them, 2nd year for most of the team and a good home wicket. It's gonna be a spicey year thats for sure.
