A little quiz for some of you long time Urchin fans,which former Hornchurch player captained the England team to victory in the World Youth Cup 15 years ago today?

heres a clue he played for the urchins in 2004 and also played for peterborough and barnet.

sorry it was the european youth championship.on talk sport they mistakenly said the world youth cup,david beckham couldnt get into a squad which included david unsworth,ian pearce,sol campbell and many others,if no one gets it i will post the answer when i get home from work tonight,another clue,he was very injury prone.

Dick193 - he also scored the winning goal in the Final (from the penalty spot) at the City Ground in Nottingham as England defeated Turkey 1-0. Wasn't a bad game and a good day out as the third place play off (Portugal v Spain) immediately preceded it. This was one of the better England youth teams of recent years. Interestingly, the main strike force of Kevin Gallen & Robbie Fowler were left out of the opening group game but were brought in for game two and the tournament took off for the Young Lions from there.

Incidentally, might be an idea if asking a question not to give the answer as the title of the thread!
