Arithon
A few facts after reading this thread. Attendances. It is unlikely that increased attendances alone will enable the club to break even. other initiatives have been started which may help. An online programme that looks quite swish may be attractive, especially to far flung members and supporters and while the cost of producing it should be covered by a small annual charge, there is great potential for national or possibly international advertisements which could be a good money spinner for the club. We'll see. EA sports are continuing to support the club through the MYFC website. Other local sponsorship deals are being sought with some success and efforts are being made to improve the overall match day experience. On attendances though, if the sale of season tickets are anything to go by then things may improve this year.. The number of full season ticket sales are higher than last year and on top of this about 250 "mini" season tickets of 5 games or 11 games have been sold which have certainly helped the short term cashflow. In addition, letters have been sent out to all those who had Wembley tickets posted to them. This letter includes vouchers for "2 for 1" to encourage people to attend who perhaps may not otherwise. In the end though, it will be results that will govern attendances as much as anything will. i think the fact that Liam has been handed a good playing budget (more than what he had asked for I believe) will help this. It should be noted that the chances are that the budget would have been severely slashed without the extra funding and the Wembley money. Jeff
Why would I want the silliness from MyFC following me over here? Paul is not politburo really is he? He is the most typtastic member of the MyFC board. Admittedly, I don't agree with everything he says and the way in which he expresses it but express it he does and that is not a closed co-operative. Loosey
You see, like him or loathe him, Harry J is the sort of person I am more interested in then what Singram has done for MyFC. Harry has done so much for the Fleet, a lot of people have. This is a forum about Fleet Fans and the Fleet. I really don't need anyone coming on here spouting off what someone has done for MyFC! Arithon
i have posted on here quite a few times actually, well before 7 May. Harry j is a number 1 Ebbsfleet fan in my book and my comments about Singram weren't intended to be a comparison with others here. A few other facts, I know sorry, they do spoil a good story don't they. I haven't banned anyone from the MYFC website nor was I aware that the most recent suspension had been until after the event. I have been petitioning for previously banned members to be reinstated and have been successful in 2 out of three. neither in fact have I closed any threads and in fact have asked for the most recent closure to be re-opened. Its a silly thread but harmless.
