On KentNews.co.uk EUFC player Dan Stubbs scored for Margate..........? against Whitstable on Tues.........?? Is he still with us or not?

Maybe he's on trial at Margate, he's not on contract at the moment so he's free to do what he wants. Dan Stubbs will be a star player at Margate, as Margate have virtually got all the youth team as their first team this season. They're one of the favourites for the drop to Ryman League Division One South.

In answer though, I have no idea. My guess is that Dan is trialing there.

Not quite correct we are playing just our youth, some have been signed up for the future although a handful may play at times. Indeed we have just signed up Wayne Wilson who played 28 times for Bromley last season and still have 5/6 players left from last year's team.

 

Am hoping we sign up Dan as looked good so far in trials. By the way Ronks I thought you were a Margate fan anyway?

Just so Alan but also as stated when I first joined the Gate forum that I also follow the Fleet. Dual followship an all that. So any future 'we' or 'us' on either forum will be appropriate but I see your point when reading thread.I simply asked in this way on here due to the fact that he is still stated as FLEET player on tis site ( so 'us' seems to be the context on this forum) and only mentioned as a long term triallist, it seems, at MARGATE.My apologies for the omission of better clarity to all concerned.
