New signing

Looks to be high on the agenda as has appeared in all the games (as has Peak ?)

James Gregory-similarly-must be high on the agenda has been at every friendly and looked good from what i read and have seen.

need central defenders-probably Danny Young -but there again Dominic (does anyone know his second name ) looked good but i am sure BA would not make a decision on just 45 minutes. really you need 3 central defenders to be able to perm two from 3

I am hoping Morris also will be signed-but noted he was not there Tuesday.

As for the attack-god knows-but could do worse than Taylor and Pratt.

I hope BA gets defence and midfield sorted first and then worry about attackers later.

Don't concede the nil and all that !!

Coming back to Wilson and stubbs- from what i saw on tuesday, they both looked capable-but not spectacular.

However, they looked particularly good together i thought-complementd each others game-the whole was better than the sum of the parts-so i think it is important that stubbs is also signed.

Similarly-thats why Pratt and taylor may just work ok even though it is a big step up for them as they seem a proper partnership with experience of playing together.

Need the same sort of partnership in central defence-Smith and Young are both ok ,but never seemed to play well as a pair-maybe thats due more to Trotts complete lack of being able to organise things and that BA can organise a defence much better and get them playing closer together instead of the large gaps between them that occurred in the defence last season where imo the central defenders were too far apart .

Alot is said about sorting the spine of the team-completely agree-and better still if there are two players each in defence, midfield and attack- down the central spine

Great news IMO. Looks a class player for me: not afraid to put his foot in, has a thunderbolt shot (and is not afraid to have a go once he gets 25 yards out) and his vision and passing ability are very impressive.

Best of luck Wayne, I'm sure you'll shine in the Margate blue.

If stubb's is signed, we may have 2 midfield players who can score from distance-something we have not had since Protheroe.

You will have to go some to see a better shot than Stubb's on Tuesday-did not see wilsons so maybe it was even better.

If stubb's is signed, maybe between them they can score 4 long distance goals each-we may need alot of accurate long distance shooting without the close range goals of Pinnock and Hockton repectively.

Does'nt matter how they go in-you cut your cloth accordingly
