Whereas it's nice to win games, the prime reason is to get the squad match fit, try out some players in, maybe different positions, iron out any niggles and give the trialists a chance to shine.

 

They are played to get the team ready for the season ahead, WHEN IT MATTERS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We also have the Red Arrows at half time, I believe. Oh.. and Elvis sings the National Anthem before Kick-off, so I'm told.
