Next Social night /quiz/500 draw

The next draw for the 500 club will be made at the Herschel Arms on Thursday Aug 7th - 8pm also Mark Radford (radders) has agreed to do a pub quiz the same night.

Quiz teams will be limited to a max of (4) on this occasion.

Quiz entry fee will be

at tonights match V Holyport Radders has informed us due to work committments he will be unable to front the quiz, but has agreed to do the questions , so if numbers turn up for a quiz, this will still go ahead..with questions proivided by Mark....just with a new quiz master...

Could someone from the club give Tom a bell regarding Thursday night? Think he wants to know whether to get a PA in and whether he should advertise the quiz etc.

 

I should be at the Stevenage game tomorrow night if anyone wants to discuss it with me there.

hi Ian... the quiz is not on at the moment , Radders told me he could not atten but he would do the questions ..left him messages ..but not reply as of 2230 wed 6th aug - so at the moment its going to be just a social night and the draw for the 500 club..

Hi everyone,

 

Firstly let me apologise for the late notice and reply. I have been working 7 days + 2 nights every week for the past month spread across my 2 jobs and therefore a) cannot attend on Thursday and have not managed to produce a set of questions for which I am really sorry. This work 'overload' has been due to a number of factors both work related and external/personal reasons. I am hoping to be able to attend the majority of fixtures this season starting with the game against Burnham a week Saturday.

 

Once again, I can only apologise for the late cancellation of the quiz and reiterate my commitment both to the football club and the social events that the Trust organises.

 

I hope to see you all soon both at games and at another quiz night in the near future.
