Ball now in our court, if you'll pardon the expression.

just a few details left to sort, the length of the lease and the repairs, thats been the argument all the way for the last 15 years!

Hope they can both resolve it and concentrate on the footie and sweeping roads.

40,000 pounds worth of sponsorship for the five weeks of soccerschools looks like exceptional business, I think it will pay for a bit more than a few shirts, very well done DFC.

40k for "The money will be spent on kits for the kids and help with the coaching and things like that. It's great news, we're all hoping the school will be a real success story."

Go along way towards new dressing rooms one would think.

Bit dodgey not seeking an extension to the 3 months like the council have suggested isn't it? Not a legal eagle but isn't that contempt of court?

best get the lad down to one of the trials dave, even if the coaching turns out to be unsuitable the shirts will be top notch!

In fairness its easy to jump on what gets reported in the ad and to read too much into the quotes, im sure they dont print all of what RC says.

Hopefully the club will tell more about the soccer school on the website, I thought it seemed a great idea when it was announced and to see its got 40k of funding is outstanding.

Which party ?

Problem is, most people 'connected' with DFC are away on summer hols at present, including the Press Officer.

If I hear anything, I'll post on here.

after nearly 20 years of negotiating i thought a party would be in order when it was concluded, Ive already volunteered to supply champagne and brandy.

most people "connected" are on holiday? who they then?
not the vice chairman, the director of football or the safety officer, how many does that leave?

I hope the bloke in charge of the reading glasses and pens isnt on holiday or the bloody lease will never get signed.
