What are peoples thoughts on the striker from yesterday?? i thought he played well and linked up well with BWG? won a lot of headers and linked up play well and brought other players into the game very well. Looks as though he will be a very good target man and could easily grab himself a few goals this season?

 

All round the team looks as though it could be a promotion winning side, great to see flacky and dorms back in action aswel. looking good for BTFC this season as the new signings look promising. Good balanced squad.

Young Jack has the pedigree to be a good player. His dad is Colin West - Former Sunderland striker and current Assistant Manager at Millwall.

 

Jack is a coach at West Ham's Football in the Community scheme with my son.

He had a good solid game and looked pretty comfortable in his role.

Would be good to see him in the squad for the Southend game.

I was impressed with him and the whole team in the 1st half to be fair!

 

I watched him a few times last season for the reserves and he can also play centre back so will be good to have in the squad as is versatile. He also has a younger brother (Sam West), who was captain of the reserves when i watched the Fred Budden final last season over at Heybridge, he looks pretty useful aswel. He is a centre back and looks strong and and was good on the ball.

 

Hopefully with this capital league team we will have a few more players coming though the ranks and making 1st team appearances.

slightly off topic, but jmez, do you know who's in the capital league team? Will it be used to progress the youth players or somewhere for players who aren't getting too many games to play?
