Billericay 0-1 West Ham

I thought our defending was a clear imrovement from last season as we looked much more solid at the back. The new signings all impressed and all have a lot of pace which is very good for counter attacks. Felt sorry for Harrison Chattin after that penalty miss, but thats football and he put in a cracking performance for the whole second half with a wicked shot on him which he was not afaid to use, he could become very useful during the season whether its the league or cup (all cups) only to lose 1-0 to a "West Ham" side is not really that disapointing for me the disapointment for me on he day was that there was only 806 fans that turned out for both teams and i was thinking the attendance would have easily cleared a 1000. O well role tuesday C'MON YOU BLUES!!!!!!!!!!!!

Considering that yesterday was the first Saturday after the term break and there would've been some families going on holiday yesterday, I think 806 is encouraging. I saw more people I recognised from the seasons previous and would deduce from that the club was better represented then our visitors.

I said encouraging but would concur we can do better. So why don't we all support the club and bring a friend down. Someone who hasn't been to the club, who enjoys his football. You never know, it may start a life long affair with all things Billericay Town FC.
