Payne,Lewis,Vahinsberg,McAree,Moir-all contracted ;and whilst BA is obviously looking at other players, from what we are currently advised by MFC,those are CURRENTLY only among 17 registerd to play in the Ryman premership for us.

Still 3 and a half weeks though .

Equally,i'm sure 2 or 3 of those 5 can progress but not all at once

Michael

In fairness to the lads the 5 didn't play together. Payne, Lewis and Vanhinsberg played the 1st half and came off. McAree and Moir played the 2nd half.

A lot of the other lads playing were in the ressies for the 1st time and were undoubtly very nervous.

It was purely an obervation, and maybe your point TSO is similar to minethat'these guys got talent' but you can't put them all together in the first team and expect them to do ok.

(and in fairness,BA never said he would do that anyway )

However, the simple fact is that according to MFC who clearly state that they will advise when players are signed, (no confirmation of Gregory or wilson for example despite comments on here and indeed with regard to Gregory in todays Thanet Times-but they have been wrong before and club says they will officially announce signings first !!) last years younger reserves do make up the vast majority of players currnetly contracted to the club and registered to play in the Ryman Premiership;so asit sits at the moment-at least 7 of them would have to be in the tem against Carlshalton.

Still 3.5 weeks to go though -but clock continues to tick

I can still advise that when all the paperwork is completed and signed as it should be, we will continue to do our best to bring information about signings via the club web-site. As I have said before not all the info shared on the forum - or for that matter through the printed media as you point out MM - is always spot on. We certainly don't want to end up in a Wealdstone / Rob Haworth / Dartford situation.

Further news about confirmed signings will indeed be made soon, but not until it's signed, sealed AND delivered.

Absolutely correct especially as I was the one who mentioned Rob Haworth in first place so now refuse to put any names on here even if I have heard they have been signed. A verbal agreement is completely different to being officially signed as I found out.

Given your source was the Wealdstone web-site as I recall Alan, hardly your fault but it does demonstrate the point.
