Hey Barney. Shut up.

He has made an offer and is now talking about how he feels a deal will be done. Spurs have refused their offer so all SAF is doing is stirring it in the same way Real Madrid do. All clubs do it I just find it rich when they moan about it one day and then do it the next.

Krooner grow up. This is nothing like the Madrid - Ronaldo situation.

If you saw the interview he said he has made an offer on one player he feels would improve the squad. That was all he said.

United have made official contact and made an offer yet he is not saying who it is.

What is your source telling you the offer has been declined?

Fair point on the refusal. Man U have put a bid in and should wait to hear the answer before talking to the press. If questions are put to then they should decline to comment. As I stated above they all do it. It annoys me when any of them do it.

of course it happens, the nonsense part is the way MU complain about madrid and the way slavery is being compared.

Roy Keane is as ever the most honest about it.

Players get transferred when they are under contract.

Clubs move players on they dont want, players engineer moves when their club still want them.

No loyalty, its each man and club for themselves.

Quoting Roy Keane from 17/07/08

"I think it's always been the case if players fancy leaving and make it hard for a manager and their attitude isn't up to scratch, then you sell them,"

"Having said that, in defence of players, when a club is finished with you, they get rid.

"My advice is look after yourself. If you get a chance for bigger and better things, then go for it.

"I've experienced that myself.

"People question players' loyalty. I question clubs' loyalty.

"It's a business to them. If you're not needed then you can be out of the door in 10 minutes, and I'm speaking from experience.

"It works both ways."

Its the managers job to get the best players he can to his club, isnt it?

Its up to players to get to the clubs that suit them best.

world class or pub league.

Its only fans that are "stuck" with the club they follow, be it your hometown club or your "big"club.

Think thats the conclusion from the posts here.

No Rattled, no contracts at Bookham but once a player is register then interested clubs have to make a 7 day approach through the correct channels and not appraoch the player directly, you wouldn't know that cus no one ever been after you grin
